Dr. Rao also specialized in Lithium which is a most wanted metal of the day due to Green Energy concept on World Basis. Apart from that, Dr. Rao is also associated with Educational Sector and he is a Chief Coordinator of American University for Global Peace (AUGP), Indian Chapter which is working for empowerment of poor sector people and also for peace establishment in different countries.
Mr. Velu, a Geologist, worked for a long time in GSI and attained experience in geological camp establishment, geological mapping and regional exploration for assessing the potentiality of various mineral deposits. During his career, he successfully executed assignments on potentiality for mineral deposits in North Eastern Region.
Mr. M N Singh, a Geologist, worked for long time in Coal Sector, Coal India and carried the exploration and prepared geological reports based on the exploration data generated. After Superannuation from Coal India, Mr. M N Singh has worked on coal deposits in Mozambique and South Africa under consultancy.
Mr. Thakur is in-charge of Geotech International Mining Division. Graduated from ISM, he is a 1st Class Mines Manager Certificate holder for metallic Mines and during his tenure of his service in NMDC he executed a number of assignments successfully. He later Joined in HCL and worked in Copper Mines After his superannuation, Mr. Thakur has become part of Geotech International and taking care of the Mining division of the organization. Identification of deposit through Regional Geological Studies is the starting activity in Mines & Mineral Sector. The Regional Geological Studies confirm the potential area within the PL/Reconnaissance permit area for further studies in proving the area. As this activity is the base work and is vital activity for further steps in detailed proving of the deposit for assessing the potentiality of the deposit and applying for Mining Lease grant, Geotech International will deploy highly experienced Geologists for this assignment and prepare the plans for proving the deposit under Exploration.
The area identified for further studies will be taken up for detailed working through detailed geological mapping, trenching, pitting and drilling as per the Exploration Planning prepared.
The data generated during the Services carried under Regional Geological Mapping and Exploration carried will be compiled into a Mining Geological Report which give the potentiality of the deposit & all details required for Mine Planning purposed. This report also will give the status of land as well as the mineable reserves of the block.
Mine plan is the document which will give the details of method of mining, mine working, production, man power, mine safety aspects etc and will be prepared by RQP certificate holder for Indian mining sector and by JORC approved people for outside India. Rehabilitation and Resettlement is very important factor required to be studied and addressed in Mining Sector, especially, if the area is amicable for Opencast Mining where the surface rights are required for carrying the mining operations.
EIA & EMP Clearance and Forest Clearance if the Forest is within the area applied for ML are required for opening a Mine, are statutory. Geotech International will carry this assignment through their experts and submit the report accordingly. R & R studies and Forest clearance are very important factors in Mining sector.
